Prices shown are U.S. prices in USD, the same on Google Play and the App Store. Prices vary by country and payment method, so check the purchase screen in the store for the exact price before you buy. You pay through the store you bought from (Google Play or the App Store), and you can cancel monthly and yearly subscriptions there. If a subscription ends, your saved links and Library history stay available with the free features.
Yes. ReadBack is on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. The Google Play rollout is happening in stages, so it may not show up yet on some devices or in some regions. If you don’t see it, check again in a little while.
On the free plan you can save as many links as you like and search them by title, source or summary. You also get a daily reminder and Google Drive backup, and saved links open in the in-app browser. Pro adds the ad-free reading mode, full-text search, highlights and notes, and translation. With Pro, you can also keep reading in reading mode after a link stops opening.
Connect your Google account and set a backup password, and ReadBack saves an encrypted backup to your Google Drive. You’ll need the same password to restore it, so keep it somewhere safe.
If you translate online, the title and text are sent to Google Translate. If you’re offline, or online translation fails, ReadBack uses a translation model on your device instead. Translations are stored on your device.
